Coir
Buffered Pith
To eliminate components that are soluble in water and those that are naturally linked to the cation exchange process, Atlantis cocopeat is buffered and triple washed.
Buffering takes time and begins with thorough washing and rinsing of the coir with clean water. The water soluble particles are removed after a thorough washing with clean water. After the water washing process is completed, the coir is thoroughly rinsed with a calcium nitrate solution for an extended period of time. This removes the Sodium-Potassium complex from the coir, as well as all the components that easily connect with the coir cation exchange.
The process is repeated three to four times to obtain properly cleansed and buffered coir that aids in the healthy growth of your plants.
Professional growers favour using Atlantis Buffered Pith as a growing medium.
Atlantis Buffered Pith Highlights:
- Atlantis cocopeat is triple washed and buffered, removing elements soluble in water.
- A well balanced pH with low sodium.

Atlantis Coco Husk Chips are a very sustainable alternative to other mulch solutions. Atlantis Coco Husk Chips are organic and natural mulch derived from coconut husk.
Atlantis Coco Husk Chips are durable in nature. Coconut fibre husk chips can withstand harsh weather and disintegrate at a slower and more regulated rate than other bark chips.
We provide high quality Coco Husk Chips. Coco husk chips of high quality absorb and hold water, gently releasing it over time. The coco chunks provide for greater aeration and water movement through the plants because the husk chips are broken into chunks. Coir husk chips are excellent for soilless plants and as landscaping mulch. To offer improved aeration for plants, it is frequently used with coco coir growing medium.
We put the coconut husk chips to the test once they’re mature. Our testing guarantees that the chips have a pH level that is close to neutral and that their electrical conductivity is low enough for growing.
We provide husk chips compressed in blocks, slabs & bricks form

Atlantis manufactures Coco Mixed Blocks, which are made from a combination of coconut husk chips and cocopeat and compacted into blocks. Coco Peat and Coco Chips are blended in various proportions to satisfy the needs of plant growing media. It comes in compressed block format.
These mixed blocks are mostly used for plants that require higher air porosity in order to grow quickly. Atlantis Coco Mixed Blocks are commonly used in plants that require higher air porosity for fast growing. The porosity of the potting mix is increased using coco mixed block. This thereby keeps the soil loose and airy, which promotes root growth. Improved root growth leads to improved plant growth and yield.
Atlantis Coco Mixed Blocks are available in different compositions. While mixer proposals are based on the needs of the plant, customised proposals may also be provided at the request of the customer.
Types of Mixed Blocks that we Supply:
- 70% Coir peat & 30% Husk Chips Blocks

Atlantis Coco Pots are made up of coconut frames. The coconut frame is obtained from the fibrous body between the husk and the coconut. These pots are exceptionally porous to allow air to reach the lateral roots. These pots are commonly used to grow fresh plants and seedlings in horticulture nurseries.
Atlantis Coco Pots are compostable and biodegradable. There is no need to remove the pots before planting because they are 100 percent biodegradable. It can be planted directly, avoiding damage to primary roots caused by removal from pots, allowing plants to produce a higher yield. It's the real deal when it comes to plastic nurseries and grow bags.
Our Coco-Coir Pots are penetrative and absorptive to water, air, and roots. The coir pots decompose organically in the soil, minimising root disturbance throughout the planting process. These pots are exceptionally porous to allow air to reach the lateral roots.
